Memories

Dearest, special Sushi. I knew you for 16 years. In our ‘beloved Crouch End’. From the moment I first met you, all those years ago, you exuded an aura which was extraordinary. You continued to exude that, despite the considerable battle you fought throughout the subsequent years. Anorexia is an evil, insidious, brutal, mental health illness. You talked about it honestly and bravely. As a person you were so warm, bright, intelligent and with a fine wit. Even during your own struggles, you thought about others. I remember you coming over to help my daughter with her English homework, when she was very young. (She’s 21 now.) Selflessly and brilliantly. We will miss you very much. I still feel you around our beloved Crouch End and you will always stay in our hearts. What a treasure of a person you were. Still are. We will never forget you and I feel privileged to have met and known you. xxxx
