In accordance with the current guidelines Sushi's funeral will be private, by invitation only with only 30 attendees.

We ask you to please respect these guidelines and only attend if you have been invited to do so by her family.

We would like to thank everyone for the many messages of love you have sent for Sushi.  Your words of kindness and the memories you have shared have helped us all more than we can say.

Her loss is so huge for all of us, but we are sustained by two things - the understanding of just how very many people's lives she touched and the realisation that we can continue to be her voice on the issue she cared so much about, the compassionate and respectful care of people with eating disorders.

Many people have asked if they could make a donation in her memory.  Sushi had very strong views on mental illness and eating disorders, formed by her own hugely challenging experiences and we are planning to set up a trust that we will use to do something she would be proud of.  Until we are able to do that, we would love you to email us at inmemoryofsushi@gmail.com if you would like to donate in the future, so that we can get back to you once we have made progress with this.

And in the meantime, we would so love to hear more of your memories of her as each story we hear about her, and the loving connections she made with so many people, is something we all treasure.
